We parked the motorhome in the Thousand Trails RV park, which was about 20 minutes away from the
Kasper's Apartment/Condo. We are just about to have lunch ... good idea to feed the doggies first.
This is the side of the Kasper's Apartment/Condo. It's an end one which I thought was a lot more private.
Front of the Apartment. The whole complex is behind a gated community.
Jenny said there are about 600 homes. The whole area is beautifully maintained. It looked like the gardeners had recently planted spring flowers.
This is the back of the Apartment. It's hard to tell from this pictures but there are three large sliding glass doors at the back, one each for the two large bedrooms and one for the living room. Each bedroom has a large bathroom and huge closet. There is a bed in one of the walk in closets where mom slept to get away from Dad's snoring.
Their are 9 golf courses several heated swimming pools. Since it was in the high 70's we went for a swim. The weather was spectacular. This is a view from their back patio.
Downtown Palm Springs. Dennis and I really liked the town which has
a LOT of nice restaurants and clubs, attractive buildings with art galleries,
gift and clothes shops.
There was a film festival going on.
This is where we had an evening meal. It's hard to tell from this photo, but the place is huge with a lot of cozy dining rooms. I really liked this place and wish we had taken more pictures. Jenny had her camera that night so I will have to get her pictures to add to this presentation.
Another view of the restaurant.
This is a courtyard where we had lunch.
Inside the apartment/condo. Dennis, mum and dad.
Dennis' birthday. He got a beautiful shirt from Jen/Ed and mum/dad.
I got him a shirt too. This picture shows, Den, Jim, Dad
